Welcome to our peaceful oasis in the heart of Puglia. Trullo & Villa Fumarola is the ideal choice for extended families or groups of friends who want to holiday together while maintaining their independence. The two detached houses are completely self-sufficient and private, yet close enough to enjoy each other’s company.

Indoor Spaces & Layout

1) Villa

The entrance opens up to a wonderfully generous, open-plan space. At the center is an extendable, handmade oak table. To the right, you can access the well-equipped kitchen. In front of the table lies a vast lounge room featuring extra-large, cozy sofas and a smart TV mounted on one of the walls. The outside-facing wall of this room consists of a glazed door, making the space feel almost as if it is part of the lush garden, complete with its ancient olive trees and pool area.

To the left of the central open-plan area is the first bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, which is equipped with a very large walk-in shower with two shower heads (one of which a rain shower), two sinks, and a separate room with a WC and a bidet.

To the right of the open-plan area is a hallway providing access to bedrooms two and three, as well as a second bathroom equipped with a tub, a shower, a sink, a WC, and a bidet.

2) Trullo

The Trullo can be accessed via any of the three glazed entrance doors. Entering through the left door leads straight into a generous open-plan space that is flooded with light and showcases the architectural history of this beautifully restored property. This is quite unlike most traditional Trulli, which often tend to be dark and cramped.

Facing right, you will see a comfortable sofa facing a smart TV on the opposite wall, a dining table, and, towards the rear, a well-equipped contemporary kitchen.

Heading straight ahead, you will see two doors. The one on the left leads to the first bedroom, while the one on the right leads to a bathroom equipped with a large walk-in shower (with both rain and hand shower heads), a sink, a WC, and a bidet.

To the left is the second bedroom, which features two large built-in beds that can also be transformed into cozy sofas. This room has a fireplace and can be closed off by curtains made of heavy, double-lined linen.

Outdoor Living & Child Safety

The heart of the estate is the garden surrounding the swimming pool. Having raised our own children here, we know that parents' peace of mind is invaluable. That is why the entire pool area is protected by a safety fence. For dining, each house features its own private patio and barbecue for intimate meals, while a large communal table by the pool invites the whole group to gather for unforgettable dinners under the stars. The one-hectare grounds are filled with fruit trees, such as figs, walnuts, pears, apples, persimmons, plums and more.

Exploring Puglia

Our location is a perfect base for discovering the region's magic. In a few minutes by car, you can reach the UNESCO World Heritage Trulli of Alberobello, or explore the enchanting historic centers of Locorotondo, Cisternino, and the "White City" of Ostuni, to name just a few of our nearby sights. Matera and the stunning Baroque architecture of Lecce make wonderful day trips, and you are spoilt for choice with beautiful sandy beaches on both the Adriatic and Ionian coasts.

-The pool is not heated and is open from the beginning of April until the end of October. The pool depth ranges from 1 to 1,4 m.
