Traveling with kids in Puglia is refreshingly easy—and genuinely fun. This is a great area for family vacations, where little ones can be little ones and parents can actually relax. The historic little towns and villages nearby boast lovely old centers which are mostly car-free, so kids can wander, play, and explore safely while you soak up the atmosphere. Life here moves at a human pace, and families are warmly welcomed wherever you go. Add to that miles of sandy beaches with shallow, calm water—perfect for splashing, sandcastles, and long, happy beach days—and you’ve got a destination that works beautifully for everyone.
There are also activities designed especially for families with young children. Below are just a few ideas to give you a feel for what’s on offer and help spark some inspiration for your stay.
